Yogurt is an important nutritional food source for the body, and a yogurt face mask has proven to be beneficial for skin care as well.
Yogurt Facial Mask Benefits
Mostly everyone knows the benefits of eating yogurt. It tastes good and the probiotics it contains are very good for the digestive system. Also, active substances in yogurt reduce the risk of colon cancer, decrease high blood pressure, and prevent osteoporosis. Now it seems that the high content of living bacteria helps the skin out too.
Each of us has helpful bacteria on the surface of the skin and applying probiotics to the face have been credited with helping to fight acne as well as the effects of aging on the skin. Also, the lactic acid in yogurt is a natural exfoliant.
In this yogurt face mask, we’ll use yogurt and eggs to prepare a hydrating and cleansing mask that is both moisturizing and soothing. Eggs are also good for the skin as they contain protein, minerals, and vitamins.
