Why don't young people have wrinkles? Mostly because they have more facial fat, no sun damage, and gravity hasn't taken its toll. As we age, laugh lines appear around the mouth and eyes. Sometimes sleep lines, the temporary marks that appear after sleeping on a pillow, become permanent. Areas that are exposed to the sun may develop brown patches known as age spots or liver spots. Over time, the skin gradually loses its layer of subcutaneous fat, and skin can take on a gaunt appearance. This is why just cleansing your skin isn't enough.

I'd like to thank all the little people . . . Seriously, I usually don't even get honorable mention in prize contests, but I think my luck is changing. Last month I entered The Flicker Group Photo Contest sponsored by From Nature With Love. I love their blog because they showcase some great natural products and recipes. The pictures were all so stunning I didn't think I stood much of a chance.
Long story short, I was among three winners of a lovely gift package, and believe me I'll be putting the products to good use. My package contained poppy seed oil, rice powder, goat's milk powder, yellow kaolin clay, organic nilotica shea butter, and pink rose petals. I'll be posting recipes in the coming days for using these great products. I plan on pre-pooing with the poppy seed oil today. Yea!
These days an antiaging product has to be especially versatile because it's not just about wrinkles. Due to environment, stresss, and diet, adults over 30 find themselves dealing with acne, sun damage, spider veins--any number of things that can cause a blemished complexion.

Dr. Bronner's has brought a law suit against some major companies. The crux of the matter is terminology such as natural and organic. What exactly do those terms mean legally? Most people use the terms interchangeably, but they don't mean the same thing. As people smarten up and start ridding themselves of the chemicals, many companies want in on a piece of the natural products pie, i.e. Chlorox buying Burt's Bees. Of course I have an opinion, but let's take a look at what the natural products sphere is saying--
The Organic Beauty Expert weighs in saying, "Dude, come on. You bullied the USDA into using their stamp without them changing policies to specifically address personal care products and now you think a lawsuit will change the beauty marketing industry?"
