Natural wrinkle fighters work best when you use them throughout your lifetime and not just when the wrinkles show up. However, it is never too late to start pampering your skin. Let’s take a look at a few of Mother Nature’s wrinkle-reducing solutions:

Salad soothers

Cucumbers are not just a tasty addition to your salad. No, they can be used to help sooth your skin, too. Puffiness under the eyes is due to retained fluid in the tissues. Whether you suffer from allergies or you’ve had a good cry, those bags are not going away very fast. Slice a fresh cool cucumber, lay back, and place the slices over your eyes, and relax. Your puffy eyes will shrink back to normal in no time.

Avocados are not only delicious but are loaded with wrinkle-fighting oils. Mash an avocado and apply to your face. Then relax and enjoy the soothing and softening effects. Of course, you’ll want to buy two avocados. The nutritional benefits of avocados should also be enjoyed from the inside-out. That’s right; avocados improve your skin when you eat them, too.

The body is mostly made up of water. When your body doesn’t have enough water, your skin will let you know. How? Almost immediately your skin will feel tight. Over time your skin will begin to lose elasticity. Lack of moisture leaves skin feeling dry and less ‘plump.’ That’s when you will start to notice fine lines and wrinkles.

The amount of sleep you need depends on your age and other factors, such as health and lifestyle. Most adults need at least eight hours a night. That may seem like a tall order for a lot of busy people, but those are the facts. Without a good chunk of sleep each night, your health suffers right along with your looks. Don’t neglect this very important part of your daily care. It’s no badge of courage to get by on little to no sleep, unless you consider prematurely wrinkled skin and ill health something to be proud of.

Exercise

Here we go again. It’s hard to deny that getting off the couch and moving can help the body stay young. There are several reasons why exercise helps improve your skin’s appearance. Sweat helps to purge the body of impurities, as well as increases your heart and respiratory health. A healthy heart and lungs improves your overall health, as well. And a healthy body naturally has a healthier appearance.

Taking oxygen deep into your lungs gets the blood moving and increases circulation. This increased circulation happens throughout your entire body, including your skin and the tissues that support your skin. This increased circulation helps rejuvenate the skin cells and keep them renewing at a more rapid pace than if you just sit like a lump all day.

    I just like to add two more things to take into account! First is to decrease the time spent at the Sun and the second if possible stop smoking. These two are really big causes of appearing of aging signs – wrinkles. Of course, you are completely right about healthy lifestyle and cleaning up body with drinking a lot of water!

    Anti aging is more devastating when applying chemical creams much better to use natural products because a lot of good benefits acquire and no harmful side effects encounter. Having a proper diet and good exercise is also one step to achieve younger looking skin.

  3. Great tips. I would like t add some more. If your skin is not in the best condition, consider using vitamin E. When applied topically vitamin E can soothe dry, rough skin. When taken orally the vitamin is a powerful antioxidant that can neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals, molecules which damage collagen causing dry skin and wrinkles.
